However, the aura surrounding the 990’s status symbol has remained unchanged. Simply put, the 990 is such an exceptional shoe that we’ve never stopped making it. The Made in USA 990v4, released in 2016, further developed the v3 silhouette with a more modern, streamlined mesh upper featuring pigskin suede overlays and an improved cushioning system.
